同學喺實習期間毋庸置疑會遇到唔同挑戰🧠，為咗令大家做好心理準備，我們很榮幸邀請到Ms. Natalie Evie ＠natalie_evie 引導同學走向個人成長和自我掌握嘅道路：從敏感到堅強。🤩
Natalie教導同學處理負面情緒嘅方法，喺處理情緒衝突時，點樣化腐朽為神奇。🥳

There is no denying that students will most probably encounter different challenges when they are out for placement or internship. To better help Co-op students get them mentally prepared, we are privileged to have Ms. Natalie Evie, a seasoned executive trainer, to guide them on the path of personal growth and empowerment: From Sensitive to Strong.

Natalie has offered students new perspectives and valuable ways of handling negative emotions by stressing the importance of resilience. In addressing one’s emotional conflicts, Natalie has introduced a 4-step reframing approach, in particular inspiring students on how to turn a stone to gold. She has also touched on some practical recommendations how our body could respond to manage emotional struggles that may arise from work-related stress.

We look forward to seeing students building and asserting their resilience, transforming negativity into motivation, as well as applying the skills to become high achievers in the workplace!

【Developing Workplace Professionalism: Foundational Tools for Data Analytics using Excel】

個個都用Excel ，唔通個個都真係識用Excel？唔用滑鼠用Excel你又識唔識？Co-op同學喺Johnny指導下，除咗基本知識，仲學識用唔同short cut操作，利用高級公式進行數據分析。為嚟緊 6－8個月嘅Placement做好準備，成為Excel精英🔥

Given the rapid development of big data technology and business digitalization, the ability to analyze large swaths of information efficiently plays an unprecedentedly important role in all industries. 📊

Over the past two weeks, our Co-op students participated in two comprehensive sessions on mastering Microsoft Excel, led by our esteemed guest, Mr. Johnny Lam.

Johnny guided our students through the fundamentals of Excel, covering a wide array of skills — from operating Excel using essential keyboard shortcuts to leveraging advanced formulas for performing analysis. Through his interactive exercises, Johnny had equipped our students with a solid foundation to perform Excel data analysis.

Mastering Excel for data analysis is no small feat; it requires both diligent practice and steadfast determination. With Johnny’s guidance, Co-op students are more well versed in manipulating and presenting data effectively, and learn to be more than prepared for their upcoming placement.

Get ready to immerse yourself in intercultural business practices and expand your global horizons during this mind-blowing field trip. We have lined up an exciting itinerary, including exclusive corporate visits where industry leaders will share invaluable insights and epic company tours.

The field trip is associated with COOP2001 while you will be enrolled to the course in the summer session of 2023-24. Upon completion of the field trip with satisfactory performance, participating students will be able to gain 2 units.
